A New start

I thought it was about time to make a new portfolio site.  I just recently read a posting on Polycount about the pitfalls of resumes and portfolio sites (JonJone's Info Dump on Portfolios & Resumes!).  Alot of posters on the forum discussion talked about the pains of visiting Wix.com portfolio sites.  So in turn I decided today to make a new 3D portfolio site on Weebly.  I found it to be just as easy or even easier to make a webpage on than Wix.  Since the sites from Weebly are not flash in base there are not as many fun customizations that Wix has in it's editor.

The other reason I am changing it up is because I want to go with a more professional and streamlined design.  Plus I'll probably be switching my blog over to that site since it has an integrated blog into the site.

Plasma Cannon Update

Just finished up an update to the Plasma Cannon I am working on.  Many of the pieces have a turbo smooth on them to give them a Sub-D look.  In the process it made it almost impossible to render it out so I turned many of the repeated pieces into Vray proxies.  Which has made making a high poly model easier to render at higher settings.
